Ataeifar, Appointed Managing Director of Oilseeds Research and Development Co.
According to Foodpress, Ataeifar was introduced the Managing Director of Oilseeds Research and Development Co., his predecessor being Hooshang Shadinoe.
Ataeifar boasts a well-reputed 25-year leadership profile in the area of staples and, in particular, vegetable oil in different parts of government-run commerce in Iran. In the past 5 years, he has been more active in the private sector, to include Business Deputy of Iran Oilseeds and Vegetable Oil Processing Factories Co-operative Co. (Farda Co-op).
Established in Feb. 1961, ORDC is known as the key company of oilseeds production in Iran for the past half – century and acts as the executive arm of the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture.
The Oilseeds Research and Development Co. runs with the capital of vegetable oil factories and is supervised by the top administrator of the Iranian Minister of Agriculture, which reinforces oilseeds’ remaining within the commercial cycle of agricultural production.
The major part of the ORDC’s activities is contract business with farmers for crops distribution, technical consultation, assessment of green lands, and merchandise of the main four oilseeds of sunflower, soybean, Safflower, and Canola (in the past decade).
